Tim arrives at Tower Bridge
France-England: Bath Tub Odyssey
Synopsis:
In the words of Sir Ranulph Fiennes, the world's greatest living explorer, "It is a brave man who takes to the wild seas in a copper bath with only a rubber duck for support".

In August 2005 Englishman Tim Fitzhigham succeeded in his quest to row across the English Channel and up the river Thames to Tower Bridge, London, in an old copper bath tub. This was a tremendous feat of endurance as Tim battled to navigate his bath through one of the most treacherous bits of tidal water in the world. Stranded on sandbanks, chased by seals, narrowly avoiding vast tankers, driven off course by invisible currents, Tim's is a heroic journey of one man's battle against the elements culminating in his triumphant and emotional arrival at Tower Bridge. Tim's show In the Bath: Unplugged, won the Editor's Award from ThreeWeeks at the Edinburgh Festival in September 2005.

Cloudburst Media filmed this journey and is exploring co-production options on this exclusive footage.
